Jelesa Hardin is a longtime community advocate who has spent more than 15 years serving Caswell County behind the scenes and on the front lines. From volunteering at the Oakwood Elementary Book Fair to supporting families through the Caswell County Senior Center and Back-to-School events, Jelesa has consistently shown up where help is needed most.

 

She is also the founder of Youth Lead Mentoring, an organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth through leadership development, education, and positive community support. Through this work, Jelesa has helped young people gain confidence, direction, and the tools they need to succeed.

 

For over a decade, Jelesa has worked quietly but faithfully at countless community events, fundraisers, youth programs, and outreach initiatives always focused on building stronger families and a stronger Caswell County. She doesn’t just talk about service; she has lived it.

 

Jelesa believes real leadership starts with listening, showing up, and doing the work. Her deep roots in the community and hands-on experience make her uniquely qualified to serve Caswell County with integrity, compassion, and action.
