Jelesa Hardin is a dedicated community leader with more than 15 years of service to Caswell County. She has devoted her time to supporting local families, seniors, and youth through volunteerism, outreach, and community engagement.

As the founder of Youth Lead Mentoring, Jelesa empowers at-risk youth through mentorship, leadership development, and educational opportunities. She also proudly serves as Vice Chair of the Caswell Senior Advisory Board, where she advocates for programs and resources that improve the quality of life for older adults throughout the county.

Professionally, Jelesa works in juvenile justice as a youth counselor technician, giving her firsthand experience with public safety, youth intervention, and the importance of building safer, stronger communities. She understands that effective public safety means supporting law enforcement, investing in prevention, and creating opportunities that help keep families and neighborhoods safe.

Jelesa believes effective leadership begins with listening, showing up, and taking action. Her commitment to service, integrity, and collaboration drives her vision for a stronger, more connected Caswell County.
