Jelesa Hardin
Jelesa Hardin is a dedicated community advocate with over 15 years of service in Caswell County. From volunteering at the Oakwood Elementary School Book Fair to supporting families through the Caswell County Senior Center and community outreach events, she has consistently shown up where help is needed most.
She is the founder of Youth Lead Mentoring, empowering at-risk youth through leadership, education, and support. Jelesa currently serves on the Caswell Senior Advisory Board, continuing her commitment to seniors in the community.
Jelesa believes leadership starts with listening, showing up, and doing the work. Her hands-on experience and deep community roots make her a strong voice for Caswell County.
Priorities
Economy: Supporting local businesses, farmers, and job growth while preserving the county’s rural identity.
Housing: Expanding safe, affordable housing and strengthening community development.
Transportation: Improving roads, access, and infrastructure for daily life and growth.
Energy & Environment: Protecting natural resources while promoting responsible, sustainable development.
